Add-on for Firefox which lets you navigate anonimously on the Internet, hiding your IP.

A lot of people are starting to wake up to the fact that the Internet, for all its positives, isn't a safe place to be. There are a lot of malicious and bored people with nothing better to mdo than to write software that tries to do you harm, get into your computer, steal your data, follow you then bombard you with publicity, etc. The best way around this is to browse the Internet without anyone knowing. And for this you need a special program like this one, called FoxTor 0.7.3. This FoxTor 0.7.3 is a new add-on for Mozilla Firefox which lets the user activate or deactivate it from the browser, and once activated it will allow you to browse anonymously on the Internet, hiding your IP so you can´t be located.

FoxTor 0.7.3 hides the trail you normally leave when you surf the Internet. It does so by using the encrypted TOR network which offers you greater privacy by comparison. There is an icon that installs in your taskbar, which is a fox. When you clocik on it to activate the program, it will appear wearing a mask. This is in reference to the act of "masking" ie hiding your IP. That way you know you are safe.

The only negative side of FoxTor 0.7.3 is that you also have to install Privoxy alongside it, something you wouldn't know without reading it here.

But despite that, FoxTor 0.7.3 is a worthy little program to protect your privacy, and is free to download. Give it a try!
